Oktoberfest - Tapping the Keg

Join our Beer Maidens and local dignitaries on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. for the Opening Ceremonies of the 2009 Oktoberfest. We will officially tap the first ceremonial keg of Paulaner beer from Germany by hammering the bronze spout into the keg with a wooden mallet. The trick is to do so without spilling any bier!

Sing along to "Ein Pro-sit" and "No Beer in Heaven" as the festival officially gets underway.

Ein Pro-Sit
Ein Pro-sit, ein Prosit Der Ge-muet-luch-keit, Ein Pro-sit, ein Pro-sit Der Ge-muet-lich-keit!
No Beer in Heaven
In Heaven, there is no beer. That's why we drink it here. And when we're gone from here, Our friends will be drinking all the beer!
